He was born in Ożarów Mazowiecki in 1946. He performs portrait caricature, and has created many satirical portraits which have found their place in private collections, Polish and foreign galleries. He cooperates with Polish and the foreign press. Besides, he illustrates books, fairly tails and children books, as well as educational books and he designs book covers.
He has participated in individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad: Warsaw (1990), Prague (1993), Trento Italy, (1997), “Art.Gallery in Bergisch- Gladbach (1998), Theatre of Modrzejewska in Legnica, (2002). He has won 100 Polish and world prizes. The most significant are: Grand Prix of the 25th International NasreddinHodja, Turkey (2005), Grand Prix of the International Spain Biennale of Cartoon, Spain, (2004), Grand Prix of the IX Porto Cartoon – World Festival, Portugal (2007), Gold Medal – Satyrykon, Poland, (2008) and also in Vianden, Manisa, Bursa, Ancona, Knokke Heist, Trento, Tokyo, New York, Zagrzeb, and other places.
